Honda Cars India has officially opened pre-bookings for the updated Elevate facelift ahead of its India launch on October 6, 2026. The company has also released the first official teaser, giving buyers an early look at the styling and cabin changes planned for the refreshed mid-size SUV. Pre-bookings are currently being accepted through authorised Honda dealerships for a token amount of Rs. 21,000.
Honda Elevate Facelift Gets a Sharper Exterior
The teaser confirms that the facelift will receive noticeable styling changes, particularly at the front. The SUV is expected to feature a redesigned grille with a new hexagonal pattern, while the Honda logo has been repositioned onto the bonnet. The updated Elevate also gets segmented LED daytime running lights integrated into the revised front design.
At the rear, the most visible change is the introduction of connected LED tail-lights. The SUV’s overall silhouette and proportions are expected to remain familiar, while revised bumpers and alloy wheels could further distinguish the facelift from the current model.
Cabin Updates and More Features Expected
Honda has also previewed cabin changes. The teaser shows a refreshed dashboard with lighter leatherette-style upholstery and stitching, along with ambient lighting extending across the dashboard and door pads.
Honda is expected to add several features to improve the Elevate’s equipment list. These could include ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, a powered front passenger seat, rear sunblinds and other convenience features. However, the complete feature list will be confirmed at the launch.
Existing Petrol Engine Likely to Continue
The mechanical package is expected to remain largely unchanged. The facelift is likely to continue with the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing around 119hp and 145Nm. Transmission options are expected to include a six-speed manual and a CVT automatic.
A strong-hybrid powertrain is not expected for the Elevate facelift, keeping the hybrid setup exclusive to the Honda City in the current lineup.
Launch and Price Details
Honda will officially reveal the new Elevate and announce its prices on October 6. The current Elevate is priced between Rs. 11.81 lakh and Rs. 16.36 lakh (ex-showroom), and prices for the facelift are expected to be revised.
With updated styling, a more premium cabin and additional features, the facelifted Honda Elevate will continue to compete in India’s highly competitive mid-size SUV segment. More details on variants, features and pricing will be revealed at the official launch next week.
