Honda Cars India has launched the facelifted Elevate in India at a starting price of Rs. 11.80 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2026 Honda Elevate facelift receives its first major update since the SUV was introduced in 2023, bringing styling changes, additional features and improved safety equipment while retaining its existing petrol engine.
The updated Elevate is available in five main variants: SV, V, VX, ZX and the new ZX+ trim. Prices extend up to Rs. 18.30 lakh for the ZX+ CVT, while the ZX+ Black Edition costs up to Rs. 18.40 lakh, all prices being ex-showroom. Honda has kept the entry price unchanged, although the new top-end variants are considerably more expensive than before.
Honda Elevate Facelift: Exterior Changes
The facelift brings a more modern appearance without changing the SUV’s familiar overall shape. The front-end now features a redesigned grille, revised lighting elements, and a new segmented LED DRL arrangement. The Honda logo has also been repositioned onto the leading edge of the bonnet.
At the rear, the most noticeable change is the connected LED lighting treatment. The SUV also gets updated detailing and a new Nordic Forest Pearl exterior colour. The 17-inch alloy wheels continue to be offered, keeping the side profile largely familiar.
More Features Inside the Cabin
The biggest improvements are inside the cabin. The new Elevate gets a 360-degree camera, powered front seats and ventilated front seats. The new ZX+ variant goes a step further with ventilated rear seats, a notable feature in this segment.
Other additions include ambient lighting on higher variants, improved cabin detailing, front parking sensors and rear disc brakes. CVT variants also receive an electronic parking brake with auto hold. The existing 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless smartphone connectivity, sunroof and six airbags continue to be available.
Same 1.5-Litre Petrol Engine
Honda has not made mechanical changes to the Elevate facelift. It continues with the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 121hp and 145Nm. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual and a CVT automatic gearbox. The SUV still does not get the strong-hybrid powertrain available with the Honda City.
What Makes the New Elevate Different?
With its refreshed styling, additional comfort features, 360-degree camera and upgraded safety equipment, the Honda Elevate facelift addresses several areas where the outgoing model faced competition. It continues to compete with SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara and Toyota Hyryder.
The facelift is therefore less about changing the Elevate’s core mechanical package and more about making the SUV better equipped and more competitive in India’s crowded midsize SUV market.
