2027 Mahindra BE 7 Spied With Triple-Screen Dashboard

Mahindra is continuing testing of its next-generation electric SUV, which is expected to make its India debut in 2027. The upcoming model, currently known internally as the B07 and based on the BE.07 concept, has been spotted testing on Indian roads. The latest spy shots suggest that the production SUV will retain several of the concept’s key design elements while getting a more practical road-going appearance.

The Mahindra BE 7 is expected to sit above the BE 6 in the company’s electric SUV range. Mahindra has already confirmed that its next born-electric SUV will arrive in 2027, with the company expecting the model to become an important volume contributor to its EV portfolio. The SUV will be the fourth model based on Mahindra’s dedicated INGLO electric architecture, following the BE 6, XEV 9e, and XEV 9S.

Mahindra BE 7 Spy Shots Reveal Bigger SUV Proportions

The test vehicle seen in the spy images appears larger and more upright than the BE 6. It features a sharply raked windscreen, a relatively flat roofline, and a thick C-pillar, giving it a more conventional SUV profile. Flush-fitting door handles, large wheels, and a muscular body design are also expected to remain part of the production model.

Recent test mules have also been seen with production-spec lighting elements, suggesting that development is moving closer to the final version. The SUV is expected to measure around 4.6 metres in length, placing it in a segment where it could compete with electric SUVs such as the Tata Harrier EV and VinFast VF7.

Triple-Screen Dashboard Could Be a Major Highlight

One of the most interesting aspects of the upcoming Mahindra BE 7 could be its cabin. Reports indicate that the production SUV may feature a triple-screen dashboard inspired by the BE.07 concept and Mahindra’s larger electric SUVs.

The setup is expected to include a digital instrument cluster, a central infotainment display, and a separate screen for the front passenger. This wide-screen layout would give the cabin a distinctly premium and technology-focused appearance. However, Mahindra has not yet officially confirmed the final dashboard configuration for the production BE 7.

Battery and Range Details Still Under Wraps

Mahindra has not revealed the final battery specifications or performance figures of the BE 7. Since the SUV will use the INGLO platform, it is expected to share some technology with the company’s existing born-electric models. Some reports suggest that multiple battery options could be offered, but these details should be treated as expectations until Mahindra makes an official announcement.
