Honda Elevate Facelift: Major Updates Coming in 2026

Honda is preparing a major update for the Elevate SUV, with the facelift expected to bring a refreshed design, more features, and improvements to its safety technology. The mid-size SUV has remained largely unchanged since its launch in India in 2023, and the upcoming update is aimed at keeping it competitive against newer rivals in the segment. The facelift is expected to arrive in the second half of 2026, with October being reported as a possible launch window.

Updated Exterior Design Expected

The Honda Elevate facelift is expected to receive subtle but noticeable styling changes. Spy shots of test vehicles suggest revisions to the front and rear sections, including redesigned bumpers, updated lighting elements, and new alloy wheel designs. The LED tail-light graphics could also be revised.

Honda could bring the SUV closer to its latest global design language, giving it a more modern appearance without changing its overall proportions. These changes are expected to make the Elevate look fresher while retaining its familiar SUV character.

More Features Inside the Cabin

One of the biggest areas of improvement could be the feature list. Honda is expected to take inspiration from the recently updated City and add equipment that is currently available only as accessories or missing from the Elevate.

A larger touchscreen infotainment system, redesigned instrument console, ventilated front seats and a 360-degree camera are among the expected additions. Honda has already indicated that it is considering bringing the 360-degree camera and ventilated seats into the main equipment list rather than offering them only through accessories.

ADAS Could Get Better

The Elevate already offers Honda Sensing ADAS technology on higher variants. With the facelift, Honda could expand or improve the ADAS package and potentially make some features available on more variants.

This would help the SUV compete with rivals that are increasingly offering advanced driver-assistance and safety features across their line-ups.

Hybrid Still Uncertain

There has been speculation that Honda could introduce the City’s strong-hybrid technology with the Elevate facelift. However, current reports suggest that a hybrid version is not confirmed, with Honda instead working on a dedicated electric SUV for the Indian market.

The existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with manual and CVT options is therefore expected to continue, although Honda could make changes closer to the launch.

Expected Launch and Competition

The Honda Elevate facelift is expected to launch in India around October 2026, although the company has not officially confirmed the exact date. Prices are likely to increase slightly if the SUV receives the expected feature and styling upgrades.

With a fresher design, additional premium equipment, and improved ADAS technology, the updated Elevate could become a stronger rival to the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, and other mid-size SUVs.
