Hyundai Lounge Edition Launched for Alcazar, Creta and Creta Electric

Hyundai has introduced the new Lounge Edition for three of its popular SUVs in India — the Alcazar, Creta and Creta Electric. The special edition is aimed at buyers looking for a more premium experience, with additional comfort and convenience features while retaining the standard design and mechanical setup of these SUVs.

The Lounge Edition treatment is available on select variants and focuses mainly on improving the cabin experience. Hyundai has added several accessories and premium touches that make the SUVs feel more distinctive without turning them into completely redesigned models.

Hyundai Alcazar Lounge Edition

The Alcazar Lounge Edition continues to offer the same three-row SUV package, making it suitable for families who need additional seating. The special edition adds premium interior-focused enhancements and convenience equipment. Depending on the variant, buyers can expect features designed to make longer journeys more comfortable for passengers in both the front and rear rows.

The Alcazar remains available with its existing powertrain options, so the Lounge Edition does not represent a major mechanical change. Buyers can therefore choose it primarily for the additional equipment and premium appeal.

Hyundai Creta Lounge Edition

The Creta Lounge Edition brings similar premium-focused upgrades to Hyundai’s best-selling mid-size SUV. The standard Creta already offers a long list of features, and the Lounge Edition builds on this with additional accessories and cabin enhancements.

The SUV continues with its existing engine and transmission choices. This means customers do not have to compromise on the familiar Creta driving experience while getting a more personalized version of the vehicle.

Hyundai Creta Electric Lounge Edition

The Creta Electric also receives the Lounge Edition treatment, giving Hyundai’s electric SUV a more premium positioning. The special edition retains the core electric vehicle package, including its existing battery and motor technology.

The Lounge Edition could appeal to customers who want an EV with additional comfort-oriented equipment and a more exclusive appearance. Hyundai has been expanding its electric vehicle portfolio in India, and this edition adds another layer of choice for buyers considering the Creta Electric.

What the Lounge Edition Means for Buyers

Unlike a conventional facelift or model update, the Lounge Edition is primarily focused on added equipment, styling elements, and convenience features. There are no major changes to the underlying platforms or powertrains.

For buyers, the main advantage is the opportunity to get a better-equipped SUV with a more distinctive cabin and exterior treatment. However, customers should compare the Lounge Edition’s additional equipment with the price premium over the corresponding standard variant before making a purchase.

With the Alcazar, Creta and Creta Electric now available with Lounge Edition variants, Hyundai is offering more ways for customers to personalize its SUV range while maintaining the familiar products underneath.
