Kia India has finally given fans of big, three-row SUVs something to get excited about. The brand has dropped a fresh teaser on its social media channels that all but confirms the arrival of two major new products: a hybrid SUV and a fully electric model. Going by recent spy shots and Kia’s product roadmap, these are widely believed to be the Kia Sorento Hybrid and the Kia Syros EV.
What The Teaser Suggests
Kia hasn’t officially named the vehicles in its teaser, but the timing and imagery line up closely with the Sorento Hybrid, which has already been caught testing on Indian roads multiple times this year. The India-spec Sorento is expected to measure around 4,815 mm in length with a 2,815 mm wheelbase, making it a genuinely large three-row SUV. Test mules spotted on Indian roads show an upright, boxy stance with a tall roofline and a wide rear track, hinting at generous third-row space. Reports suggest Kia may offer both six-seat and seven-seat configurations to suit different buyers.
On the features front, expect a long list of premium touches: a large panoramic sunroof, a Bose sound system, ventilated seats, multi-zone climate control, an electronic parking brake, and a comprehensive Level 2 ADAS suite. Under the hood, the hybrid setup is expected to pair a 1.6-litre turbo-petrol engine with an electric motor, together producing around 227 hp and over 350 Nm of torque, sent through a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Kia has confirmed the Sorento as part of a broader electrification push that aims to bring eight hybrid or electric models to India by 2030, with the Sorento marking the first major step.
