After months of speculation, the new Audi Q3 India launch finally has a confirmed timeline. While earlier reports pointed to a July-September 2026 window, and test mules were spotted undisguised on Mumbai roads as recently as this week, Audi India has now locked in October 2026 as the final launch month for the third-generation Q3.
This new Q3 marks a big styling leap over the outgoing model. Up front, buyers get a redesigned hexagonal Singleframe grille with an illuminated Audi logo, sleek eyebrow-style Matrix LED headlamps, and a more sculpted bumper. At the rear, connected LED taillights with a full-width light bar give the SUV a sharper, more premium stance. The cabin gets an equally big update, headlined by a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system paired with an 11.9-inch fully digital driver display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ambient lighting, and a 12-speaker Sonos sound system on higher trims.
Mechanically, the India-spec Q3 continues with the familiar 2.0-litre TFSI turbo-petrol engine, paired with a 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch gearbox and Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system as standard, making it one of the few petrol AWD options in its segment. Reported output figures vary slightly across sources, ranging from around 204hp to over 260PS, so exact India-spec numbers should be confirmed closer to launch.
