New Audi Q3 Launch in India on October 16, 2026

Audi India is preparing to launch the third-generation Q3 in the Indian market on October 16, 2026. The new luxury SUV will replace the current second-generation model and is expected to bring a major update in terms of design, technology, and features. The India-spec model was unveiled in August and will be locally assembled. Bookings for the new Q3 have already opened.

New Audi Q3 Gets a Fresh Design

The new Audi Q3 features a sharper and more aggressive design compared with its predecessor. The front-end gets a wider grille and split LED headlamps with configurable daytime running light signatures, giving the SUV a distinctive appearance.

The side profile features body-coloured cladding, a chrome beltline and black detailing around the windows. It also gets 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. At the rear, the Q3 comes with split tail-lamps, an illuminated Audi logo and a roof spoiler. The overall design is noticeably more modern than the outgoing SUV.

2.0-Litre Turbo-Petrol Engine

For India, the new Audi Q3 is expected to be offered exclusively with a 2.0-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol engine. The engine is expected to produce around 204hp and 320Nm of torque. It will be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Audi is also expected to offer its Quattro all-wheel-drive system as standard. Unlike some international markets, the India-spec Q3 is not expected to get a diesel powertrain.

More Premium and Tech-Focused Cabin

The cabin receives a significant technology upgrade. The new Q3 gets a digital driver’s display along with a large central infotainment screen, creating a modern dual-screen layout.

Expected equipment includes a Sonos sound system, panoramic sunroof, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control and a 360-degree camera. The SUV is also expected to offer advanced safety and driver-assistance features, depending on the variant.

New Audi Q3 Expected Price and Rivals

The current Audi Q3 is priced between Rs 43.67 lakh and Rs 53 lakh, ex-showroom. With the new generation bringing updated styling, technology and equipment, the upcoming model is expected to command a significant premium. Its expected price is around Rs 55 lakh to Rs 60 lakh, ex-showroom.

Once launched, the new Audi Q3 will continue to compete with luxury SUVs such as the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA. With its new design, petrol-only powertrain and Quattro AWD, the Q3 is set to strengthen Audi’s position in India’s entry-level luxury SUV segment.
