Nissan has increased the prices of the Magnite compact SUV once again in India, marking the second price revision for the model since September 2026. The latest hike comes shortly after the company revised Magnite prices last month, making the popular SUV slightly more expensive across several variants.
The September price revision had increased Magnite prices by around Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 3,000 across much of the range, while one particular Tekna petrol manual variant received a higher increase of Rs. 6,500. The latest revision adds another increase of up to Rs. 4,000 depending on the variant and powertrain.
Nissan Magnite Price Hike Explained
According to the latest price revision, the Visia base trim sees an increase of up to Rs. 4,000, although the Visia petrol manual and CNG versions receive a relatively smaller increase of around Rs. 1,400. The AMT version of the Visia has also become costlier by Rs. 3,000.
The Acenta, Tekna and Tekna Plus variants have also received price increases of up to Rs. 4,000 across their manual and automatic versions. The changes apply to different combinations of the Magnite’s naturally aspirated and turbo-petrol engines.
Nissan’s official price list currently places the Magnite’s entry-level manual version at around Rs. 5.68 lakh, while the range extends beyond Rs. 10 lakh for the higher turbo-CVT variants, depending on the version and equipment.
Engine and Gearbox Options
The Magnite continues with two 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engines. The naturally aspirated unit develops 71bhp and 96Nm and is available with a five-speed manual or AMT gearbox. The turbo-petrol engine produces 100bhp, with torque varying by transmission, and can be paired with a five-speed manual or CVT.
Selected naturally aspirated variants also offer a CNG option, giving buyers an alternative for lower running costs.
Magnite Remains Important for Nissan
Despite the repeated price increases, the Magnite continues to play an important role in Nissan India’s product strategy. The company recently reported strong domestic wholesale growth, with demand for the Magnite, Gravite and new Tekton contributing to its improved performance.
With the latest revision, buyers considering the Magnite will now have to pay slightly more than they did just a few weeks ago. However, the SUV continues to compete in the highly competitive compact SUV segment with its combination of turbo-petrol performance, multiple transmission choices, features, and an aggressive overall package.
