4 Toyota Facelifts 2027: Innova Hycross & Hyryder

Toyota is preparing to refresh several of its popular models in India over the next year. The Japanese carmaker is expected to introduce four facelifts by 2027, covering models from the hatchback and compact SUV segments to the popular MPV and mid-size SUV categories. The upcoming updates are likely to focus on styling, new features, and improved technology rather than major mechanical changes.

The four models expected to receive updates are the Toyota Glanza, Urban Cruiser Taisor, Innova Hycross and Urban Cruiser Hyryder. While Toyota has not officially confirmed the complete launch schedule or specifications of all four models, recent reports suggest that the company is working on these updates as part of its next product cycle.

Toyota Glanza Facelift

The Glanza is expected to be the first among these models to receive an update. It could arrive in India around October 2026, bringing revised styling and additional cabin features. The facelift is expected to help Toyota keep the premium hatchback competitive against rivals such as the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, on which the Glanza is based.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor Facelift

The Urban Cruiser Taisor is also expected to receive a facelift around 2027. Reports suggest that Toyota could introduce more advanced equipment, including upgraded safety and driver-assistance technology. There is also speculation about a hybrid powertrain and features such as a sunroof, although these details have not been officially confirmed.

Toyota Innova Hycross Facelift

The biggest update in Toyota’s upcoming facelift lineup could be the Innova Hycross. The MPV has already been spotted testing in India, with spy images indicating a redesigned front fascia, revised lighting elements and updated bumpers. The new design is expected to draw inspiration from Toyota’s latest styling language, including elements similar to the Hilux.

The facelift could also bring interior revisions, updated upholstery and a larger or more advanced infotainment system. However, the existing 2.0-litre petrol and strong-hybrid powertrains are expected to continue. The Innova Hycross facelift is likely to launch in early 2027.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Facelift

The Urban Cruiser Hyryder is another important model expected to receive a major refresh. The facelift could arrive in early 2027 with revised exterior styling and an upgraded cabin. Advanced safety features, including Level 2 ADAS, have been reported as possible additions, while the existing 1.5-litre mild-hybrid and strong-hybrid powertrains are expected to continue.

Overall, Toyota’s upcoming facelift strategy suggests that the company is looking to strengthen its presence across multiple segments without completely replacing its existing models. More details are expected to emerge as these vehicles move closer to their respective launches.
