Skoda Auto India has officially unveiled the 2026 Slavia facelift, bringing a refreshed design, more premium features, and a new automatic transmission option to its popular midsize sedan. Pre-bookings for the updated Slavia are now open, while the company is expected to announce variant-wise prices in the first week of October. Deliveries are scheduled to begin during the festive season, ahead of Diwali.
Bookings Open for the New Slavia
Customers interested in the 2026 Skoda Slavia facelift can now place their bookings through Skoda’s online platform or authorised dealerships. The booking amount has been reported at Rs 15,000. The company has not yet announced the final ex-showroom prices, making October the key month for buyers waiting to know the exact cost of the updated sedan.
The facelift is expected to carry a moderate price increase over the outgoing model because of the additional equipment and mechanical updates. The current Slavia is priced from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 18.19 lakh, ex-showroom, while reports suggest the facelift could see an increase of up to around Rs 85,000 depending on the variant.
Updated Exterior Design
The 2026 Slavia gets several styling changes designed to give it a sharper appearance without changing the overall character of the sedan. The updated front end features redesigned bumpers, revised LED headlamps with new daytime running lights and an updated air dam.
At the rear, the facelift receives revised LED tail-lamps with sequential turn indicators. New alloy wheel designs are also available across the range, with higher variants receiving more premium finishes. These changes give the Slavia a fresher look while retaining its familiar sedan proportions.
More Premium Interior and Features
The cabin has received a more substantial upgrade. One of the major additions is a 360-degree camera, available from the Sportline variant onwards. Higher variants get a larger digital driver’s display, while the updated infotainment system brings connected technology and an AI-powered assistant.

The top-spec versions also benefit from electrically adjustable front seats, ventilated front seats and a rear-seat massager. Auto AC is now available across the range, while a sunroof is offered on most variants except the base Classic trim.
These additions are expected to make the Slavia more appealing to buyers looking for a feature-rich premium sedan.
New 8-Speed Automatic Gearbox
One of the biggest mechanical changes is the introduction of an 8-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox with the 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine. The existing 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine continues to produce 116PS and 178Nm, while the 1.5-litre TSI produces 150PS and 250Nm.
The 1.0-litre engine continues with a 6-speed manual option, while the new 8-speed automatic should provide a smoother alternative for buyers who primarily drive in city traffic. The 1.5-litre engine remains paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic.
Price Announcement Expected in October
Skoda is yet to reveal the official prices of the 2026 Slavia facelift. The company is expected to announce the complete price list in October, with deliveries planned for the festive season.

With updated styling, additional technology and a new automatic gearbox, the facelifted Slavia is set to strengthen Skoda’s position in the midsize sedan segment. It will continue to compete with rivals such as the Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus and Honda City.
For buyers planning a new sedan this festive season, the 2026 Skoda Slavia facelift could be one of the more significant updates to watch, especially once its official variant-wise prices are revealed.
