Honda Amaze Price Hike 2026: 2nd Price Increase

Honda Cars India has revised the prices of the Amaze for the second time in 2026, with select variants becoming costlier by up to Rs. 15,210. The latest revision affects the 2026 Amaze lineup and comes after another price adjustment earlier this year.

The Honda Amaze continues to be positioned as a practical compact sedan for buyers looking for a spacious cabin, comfortable ride, and an automatic transmission option. Despite the latest price revision, its range continues to remain within the sub-Rs. 10 lakh ex-showroom bracket for the third-generation model.

Honda Amaze Price Hike Details

The latest revision is not uniform across the entire lineup. According to the updated price list, the biggest increase of Rs. 15,210 applies to the VX CVT variant. The V MT, VX MT, and ZX MT variants have also received price increases.

Honda Amaze VariantPrice Hike
V MTRs. 14,010
VX MTRs. 13,410
ZX MTRs. 14,210
V CVTRs. 4,710
VX CVTRs. 15,210

The entry-level S MT and S CVT variants have not received an increase in this revision. The top-spec ZX CVT has also remained unchanged at Rs. 9.99 lakh, keeping it below the important Rs. 10 lakh price mark.

Amaze Prices After the Revision

Following the latest update, the Honda Amaze range starts from Rs. 5.99 lakh for the older-generation S MT, while the third-generation Amaze is priced between Rs. 7.65 lakh and Rs. 10 lakh, ex-showroom. The revised prices apply depending on the variant and transmission selected.

The Amaze continues to use Honda’s 1.2-litre petrol engine, with buyers getting the choice of a manual gearbox or CVT automatic. The model also remains one of the few compact sedans in its segment to offer advanced driver assistance features on higher variants.

Second Price Increase This Year

The latest increase follows an earlier price revision in January 2026, when Honda increased prices on several Amaze variants by up to around Rs. 6,990. Another revision was reported in April, followed by the latest August adjustment of up to Rs. 15,210.

Interestingly, Honda is also offering benefits on the Amaze during September 2026. Depending on the generation, variant, and location, buyers can receive discounts and other benefits, which could partially offset the impact of the higher ex-showroom prices. Honda’s official offer page states that the September schemes are valid until September 30, subject to applicable terms and location-specific conditions.

For buyers planning to purchase an Amaze, it is therefore worth checking the latest dealer quotation, available discounts, and variant-specific offers before booking. The price hike is relatively limited in percentage terms, but the higher cost of popular mid-spec variants could have an impact on the overall on-road price.
