Jeep Wrangler Whitecap Mojito Unveiled, Pre-Bookings Open

Jeep India has unveiled the new Wrangler Whitecap Mojito Limited Edition, adding a distinctive heritage-inspired version to its premium off-road SUV lineup. Pre-bookings for the special edition are now open, while the official price and launch date are yet to be announced. The limited-run model is expected to reach dealerships in the coming weeks.

Distinctive Mojito Green Exterior

The biggest highlight of the Jeep Wrangler Whitecap Mojito is its unique exterior treatment. The SUV gets a bright Mojito Green body colour combined with a contrasting white hardtop. The white theme is also carried over to the grille surround, giving the Wrangler a more distinctive two-tone appearance.

Jeep has added several heritage-inspired details to further differentiate the special edition. These include ‘1941’ decals on the sides, a reference to the year associated with the original Willys MB Jeep, along with body-coloured fenders and a white ‘4 Wheel Drive’ graphic on the tailgate.

Based on the Wrangler Rubicon

Unlike the regular Wrangler Unlimited-based version reported earlier, multiple reports identify the India-spec Whitecap Mojito as being based on the off-road-focused Rubicon. This means the special edition retains the Wrangler’s more capable 4×4 hardware while adding exclusive styling and equipment. Jeep has also indicated that the model will be available in limited numbers, with reports putting the Indian allocation at just 25 units.

Inside, the Whitecap Mojito gets additional equipment including a built-in dashcam and reinforced grab handles. Other features are expected to include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 12-way electrically adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a nine-speaker Alpine audio system with a subwoofer, six airbags, and advanced driver assistance features.

Same Turbo-Petrol Engine

The special edition does not bring major mechanical changes. It is expected to use the Wrangler Rubicon’s 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, producing around 272hp and 400Nm. The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and Jeep’s four-wheel-drive system.

Price and Launch Details

Jeep India has not yet announced the official price of the Wrangler Whitecap Mojito. The standard Wrangler Rubicon currently costs Rs. 70.8 lakh (ex-showroom), so the limited edition is expected to command a premium over it. With pre-bookings already open and limited availability, the final price and delivery timeline are likely to be announced closer to the market launch.

The Whitecap Mojito combines Jeep’s familiar off-road hardware with an exclusive green-and-white design, making it a distinct addition to the Wrangler range for buyers looking for a more individualised version of the iconic SUV.
