New Audi Q3 India Debut on 25 August: Design, Features & Expected Price

Audi is gearing up to introduce the next-generation Q3 in India, with the premium SUV set to make its India debut on 25 August 2026. The company has released a teaser ahead of the debut, giving buyers a first glimpse of the new model. The third-generation Q3 brings a major design and technology update over the outgoing SUV.

New Audi Q3 Gets a More Aggressive Design

The upcoming Audi Q3 features a significantly redesigned exterior while retaining the familiar compact SUV proportions. The global-spec model gets a larger grille, sharper body lines, and a new split-headlamp setup. At the rear, the SUV is expected to feature connected LED tail lamps along with an illuminated Audi logo, giving it a more modern appearance.

Audi is also expected to offer the India-spec Q3 with 18-inch alloy wheels. The overall design looks more upright and muscular than the previous-generation model, helping the Q3 maintain a stronger road presence in the premium SUV segment.

Cabin Gets a Major Technology Upgrade

The biggest changes are expected inside the cabin. The new Q3 gets a completely redesigned dashboard with a digital driver display and a large central touchscreen. The global model features an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.8-inch infotainment screen.

Expected Engine and Quattro AWD

For India, the new Audi Q3 is expected to continue with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. The engine is expected to produce around 204PS and 320Nm, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Quattro all-wheel drive is also expected to be offered.

Internationally, the Q3 is available with multiple powertrain options, including petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid versions. However, the India-spec model is expected to focus on the turbo-petrol setup.

Expected Price and Rivals

The new Audi Q3 is expected to be positioned above the current model, with an estimated price in the range of Rs 50 lakh to Rs 60 lakh, ex-showroom. The SUV will continue to compete with premium rivals such as the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA.
