Tata Sierra Legend Series Variants Explained

Tata Motors has expanded the Sierra lineup with the new Legend Series, introducing additional features across the lower and mid-spec variants. Launched in September 2026, the Sierra Legend Series starts at Rs. 11.99 lakh and is available in five trims: Smart+ L, Pure L, Pure L (O), Pure+ L and Adventure+ L. The existing Sierra variants continue to be sold alongside the new Legend Series.

The Legend Series is essentially designed to bring more comfort, convenience, and technology to buyers without moving directly to the higher Accomplished variants.

Tata Sierra Smart+ L

The Smart+ L is the entry point into the Legend Series, with prices starting at Rs. 11.99 lakh for the petrol-manual version. It adds leatherette upholstery, leatherette door pads and armrests, steering-mounted controls, auto-folding ORVMs, roof rails and 17-inch steel wheels with covers.

The Smart+ L is also offered with the diesel-manual powertrain, giving buyers a choice between petrol and diesel at the base of the Legend lineup.

Tata Sierra Pure L

The Pure L brings a noticeable jump in equipment. It gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a rear camera, cruise control, TPMS, rear wiper and washer, and 17-inch alloy wheels.

Prices start at Rs. 13.79 lakh for the petrol-manual version and go up depending on the engine and transmission combination.

Tata Sierra Pure L (O)

Positioned between the Pure L and Pure+ L, the Pure L (O) adds several popular convenience features. These include a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers.

The variant starts at Rs. 14.29 lakh with the petrol-manual setup, while diesel and petrol-automatic options are also available.

Tata Sierra Pure+ L

The Pure+ L focuses more strongly on cabin comfort. It adds ventilated front seats, a six-way powered driver’s seat, thigh support extension, Boss Mode and dual-zone automatic climate control. It also gets additional rear USB-C charging support and a more premium leatherette interior.

Its petrol-manual price starts at Rs. 14.99 lakh.

Tata Sierra Adventure+ L

At the top of the Legend Series is the Adventure+ L, starting at Rs. 16.99 lakh. It adds features such as a 360-degree camera, a larger 12.29-inch infotainment display, reclining rear seats, wireless charging, a cooled glovebox, and additional terrain-focused equipment.

The Adventure+ L is also the only Legend Series trim available with Tata’s 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. The range continues with petrol and diesel options, depending on the transmission.

With five trims and multiple powertrain combinations, the Sierra Legend Series gives buyers more ways to configure the SUV around their budget and equipment requirements. The key difference is that the Legend Series runs alongside the existing range rather than replacing it, giving customers two Sierra lineups to consider.
